The problem: Melanoma on black skin tends to be noticed much later than on white skin and results in a higher percentage of death.
Insight: Melanoma occurs at parts of the body that beauticians look at on a daily basis: the nails, palms, soles of the feet, bikini line and in the hair.
Strategy: We launch The Beauty Spotter, an awareness campaign to educate beauticians of the main signs of melanoma so they can drive diagnosis.
